Flambeau, Inc. and its divisions, in conjunction with other members of the Nordic Group of Companies, form a total resource network providing customer assistance in design and specifications of injection and blow molded thermoplastic components and products, building of tools and fixtures, and contract manufacturing of complete assemblies. You may be asking, "Why the frog?" Well, at Flambeau, we are very proud of this little frog. As the first product manufactured by the co-founders back in 1947, the Halik Frog fishing lure is a tangible reminder of the companys simple beginning, and the six subsequent decades of growth and achievement in plastic manufacturing.Shortly after World War II, W.R. Sauey and his brother, Ed, put all of their combined savings toward the purchase of parts to build a handmade injection molding machine. Since 1947, Flambeau has grown to include thousands of caring and committed associates and over 1,400,000 square feet of production space. Flambeaus USA manufacturing facilities are located at Baraboo, Wisconsin Columbus, Indiana Madison, Georgia Middlefield, Ohio Redlands, California and Weldon, North Carolina.
