(CDI) originated as a board-level supplier of STD Bus products for industrial automation and control. Our extensive electrical engineering capabilities led to the development of our first PC-compatible 808x- based single board computers capable of driving flat panel displays. Driven by customer demand, we introduced the first flat panel display computer and monitor systems in the early 1990s. In striving to be your chosen industrial flat panel monitor manufacturer and industrial computer provider, we continue to expand the capabilities of these platforms to include the widest range of open-frame and enclosed systems for the industrial environment available. In January 1999 CDI joined the General Electric Company with our acquisition by GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, headquartered in Charlottesville, VA. In January 2004 CDI united forces with GE Fanucs combined product lines of VMIC, RAMiX, DNA, Condor Engineering, SBS Technologies and Radstone Embedded Computing (acquired July 2001, March 2003, September 2005, March 2006, June 2006, and November 2006 respectively) to create an enhanced solutions offering. The CDI facilities, located in Greenville, South Carolina, include over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space on an 11-acre campus. On-site capabilities include EMI-scanning, a NEMA-4/12 test chamber and several wide-temperature range environmental testing chambers. Furthering our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, CDI has adopted the Six Sigma quality methodology and received our official ISO9001 certification in April 2002.
