With our unique, rugged design carried over from our broadcast roots, we quickly accomplished that goal and proved to the industry that antenna performance and durability contribute significantly to the quality of wireless network performance. Today, with numerous antenna innovations and patents, one of the most comprehensive lines of products in the industry, and a professional staff committed to the highest in customer satisfaction, we continue to prove that Amphenol Antel antennas are the choice for excellence in wireless performance. 3T Technology Advanced Technology for Todays Wireless Challenges The primary advantage of using Amphenol Antel antennas in your network is the reliability and exceptional performance youll receive - which is a direct result of our unique antenna design. Our antenna designs are based on the principles used in the broadcast industry, where there is little tolerance for error. No electronic components such as conventional solder, circuit board or strip lines are used. These elements have a higher failure rate when exposed to the environment. Instead, we offer an all-mechanical construction. 100% Mechanical Antenna Design The foundation of our antenna design is a non-collinear, corporate feed assembly, which allows access to each radiating element of the antenna. We refer to this as True Transmission Line Technology or 3T. Antenna designs that use a co-linear approach lose consistency as the RF signal moves away from the connector. Amphenol Antels 3T non-colinear design provides broad bandwidth and consistent performance across the band. It also gives us full control of the phase and amplitude of our radiation patterns, making it possible to achieve specific results in electrical downtilt, null fill and lobe suppression. Feedlines are either a single-piece assembly or they pass through a 4-channel extrusion running the length of the antenna for structural integrity. In both cases, conventional solder joints, which have a high failure rate in moisture and temperature change, are eliminated. In all Amphenol Antel designs, brass feedlines are used for transmission and air is used as insulation, offering many advantages - including reliable performance, long service life and low internal signal loss. Overall, this unique 100% mechanical design contributes to the long-life of our antennas and the reliability for which Amphenol Antel antennas are known. Quality Components Enhance Durability, Improve Performance and Ensure Repeatability While we place strong emphasis on the integrity of our antenna designs, equally important is the quality of the components used in the construction. Using high quality antenna components improves durability, contributes significantly to electrical performance and plays a major role in repeatability - all factors that assist in keeping your network performing at the highest standards at all times, keeping your customers satisfied and reducing churn. Amphenol Antel antennas incorporate: 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum Reflector Plates. For even heat dissipation across the reflector plate. Even heat dissipation eliminates warping and bending of the plate. Fiberglass Radomes. 2.5 mm thick (.10") fiberglass is cross-layered in the X and Y-axis for additional strength. A 2-part high gloss polyurethane coating protects against UV radiation. All-Brass Feedline Assemblies. Brass is an ideal choice for feedline assemblies. It provides excellent conductive properties and stability in harsh weather conditions, particularly moisture - minimizing the potential for corrosion over the extended life of the antenna. WaterJet Cut Antenna Components. Our aluminum dipoles and brass transmission lines are manufactured using a precise cold water, waterjet cutting process. The reason? Slight imperfections in components could adversely affect electrical performance. With this process, dipoles and feedlines are cut to .08 mm of spec, leaving no rough edges or burrs. And, since cold water is used, not a heat source, there is no stress on the components and no risk of a change in molecular structure. Using precise antenna components ensures the integrity of the feedline path, which is critical for repeatability of performance from one antenna to the next. And, repeatability of antenna performance is critical to maintaining predictable RF control of your network. Choose From the Most Comprehensive Antenna Selection In the Industry Our 3T antenna designs are easily adaptable to new applications, which is why were able to offer one of the most complete product lines in the industry - with over 500 different models to choose from.Log periodic dipole antennas Panel antennas for vertical, dual-polarized and quad-polarized applications Dual-band antennas for vertical, dual-polarized and quad-polarized applications Omni-directional anten
