Our laboratory standards are directly calibrated by and traceable to NIST, the National Institute for Science and Technology in Gaithersburg, Maryland. We also participate in round-robin calibration events to British and Dutch national standards. Having our Calibration Laboratory accuracy tested against three different countries’ national standard laboratories gives independent verification to our customers of the most accurate temperature signal available for their process. All of our thermocouple wire is carefully calibrated, selected, and matched to meet or exceed ASTM, ANSI, or IEC initial calibration tolerance specifications. Calibration temperature capabilities include cryogenic -320F (-196C) and at any point in a range from a low temperature of -110F (-79C) thru an upper temperature of 2400F (1316C).
