Icore has the capability to develop new interconnect systems from initial concept to finished product, while still drawing on our background and ability to design niche components to solve any interconnect problem. Our business base has shifted from over 80% components less than five years ago to over 75% complete interconnect systems today, with many of those systems developed by Icores engineering team using CATIA V5 and other advanced 3D design tools. Our Global Presence The companys name depicts our global presence - we truly are part of an international team within the Aerosafety and Technology segment of Zodiac Aerospace. Icore International has two sites of operation - our headquarters in Santa Rosa, California and our production site in Chihuahua, Mexico, which are collectively referred to as Interconnect Systems, America. Our sister business within Zodiac Aerospace, known as Interconnect Systems, Europe, has facilities at Slough in the UK, Loches in France, and Soliman in Tunisia. Our Core Competency At Icore, we specialize in the design and manufacture of innovative, high performance electrical interconnect components and systems for shipboard, aircraft and transport vehicles, especially for hazardous and safety critical applications, such as those found in the area of landing gear, helicopter rotors, jet engines, and naval surface weapons. Our team can solve difficult problems in electromagnetic interference, electrical connectivity, and electronic security with interconnect products that are crucial in todays predominately electrical control and power systems. In these applications, electrical performance, light weight, and durability in hazardous or corrosive environments are attributes that cannot be compromised. Icore components and systems are engineered to handle demanding physical stresses and difficult environmental requirements where the interconnect assembly is forced to rotate, bend, swivel and flex to meet the operating characteristics of such systems as helicopter rotors, landing gear, powered equipment and electronically controlled sensors, actuators and controls.
