In 1984, Lessard was purchased by Dana Corp. Then, in 1998, it changed hands again and became part of the Hyco group of companies. Hyco is an international manufacturing company that specializes in producing hydraulic actuators. Today Hyco Canada is one of 6 Hyco facilities on 3 continents. Together, these 6 plants produce, on average, over 5000 hydraulic cylinders every day!
