Company history haacon was founded in 1872 in Freudenberg / Main as a lifting equipment manufacturer of so-called ratchet jacks, which were used in quarries as well as agriculture and forestry. Already in 1919, toothed rack threads, rope and spindle winches were delivered throughout Europe. In 1956, the Joseph Haamann lifting equipment factory took up the serial production of trailer support jacks for commercial vehicles. Since 1981, the company has been operating under the name haacon hebetechnik gmbh.
