Commitment to this idea of greatly extending the use of lift trucks through purpose-built attachments led to the name of Kaup becoming known, recognized and respected far afield. Kaup know-how has played a prominent role in Forklift trucks today being capable of performing the widest variety of handling tasks. Output at our main plant in Aschaffenburg Germany, with factory shops to- Otmar Kaup set the company on course in the material handling equipment sector, his son Holger represents the fourth generation of the family in managment. Made in Germany: Production is for the most part centered at the main Kaup plant in Aschaffenburg, which employs a workforce numbering around 500. The Asian region is served by a factory opened in Xiamen, China, in 1997. talling 23,000 square metres of floor area and now under the fourth generation of managment, exceeds 30,000 units annually - marketed around the world through six European branch companies and an international network of representatives.
