Kimo was set up by Mr MOULINET in 1979. Kimo is a 100% French-owned compagny. In its early days, the company was orientated towards the design and manufacture of liquid column manometers. In its early days, the company was orientated towards the design and manufacture of liquid column manometers. Thanks to two opportune meetings, one with Mr TERMINI, a director of TGM and the other with Mr NADOT of SNELCO, Kimo has made constant progress and diversified towards cutting edge technologies : measuring hardware and fittings (both physical and electronic). Developpement of KIMO In 1984, Mr MOULINET and Mr TERMINI decided upon a close collaboration between Kimo and TGM. In 1987, the two men created two distinct Kimo companies in which each of them held 50% of the capital : one of them to manufacture, the other to sell. In 1991, the two associates set up a single company (merger). Mr TERMINI was the commercial director and managed the offices in Paris and Mr MOULINET was the manager and director of the manufacturing factory in Montpon. In 1992, Mr NADOT came in on Kimos share capital. He was entrusted with the development of new products and responsability for the electronic design and engineering bureau. In 1995, the Kimo LYONS company was set up and in 1997 a new agency was opened in Rennes. 1998 saw the company take a new direction. The SARL (private company) is converted into an SA (limited company) with the share capital being opened up to the company and its financial partners executives. Today Today, Kimos objective is to develop its export market. A considerable amount of work has already been carried out, in particular have been signed with Belgium, Morocco, Lebanon, Tunisia... In January 1999 an export department has been set up at the Paris offices. End 99, Kimo and Eurotron (Italy) are producing a large range of combustion efficiency controls, in partnership. In October 2001, the Kimo North agency has opened its doors et Lille. In January 2002, Kimo P.A.C.A was set up at Aix en Provence. 1st of January 2003 : Kimo Lyon / Kimo SA merger. Kimo celebrates its 25 years during Interclima Fair in February 2004. This same years, Kimo sets up a Department dedicated to a Distributors Network all over France, to represent its products and know-how. Certification April 2001, Kimo meets with the international ISO 9001 requirements. This certification is final step of a quality policy, supported by the management, and rewards the efforts of organization gathered in order to satisfy the clients. In october 2003, all the agencies of the compagny were certified ISO 9001 V2000.
