At a family run business this is not a contradiction but the rather the result of two generations working together in harmony to lead the company into the future. The product portfolio contains various lasers, detectors and other optical and electro-optical components and modules of many well selected international manufacturers, complemented by the own line of products, that are being manufactured at three different locations within German and two facilities in Northern America. LASER COMPONENTS in-house products make roughly half of the groups worldwide revenue and help us in our desire for quality, felxibility and customer service. LASER COMPONENTS IG, Inc. LCIG facility in Hudson NH LASER COMPONENTS IG, Inc. (LCIG) used to have divisions of business activities, the manufacture of laser based spectroscopic instrumentation and the distribution of photonic components from European sources. In 2000, LASER COMPONENTS established this presence in the USA when it acquired the assets of the former Laser Analytics Inc., which has been in operation since 1974. The instrumentation division of LCIG produced Tunable Diode Laser (TDL) systems and components in the 3-20 region based on Lead-Salt and Quantum Cascade lasers. This division got transferred and merged with the lead salt laser production at the LASER COMPONENTS facility in Germany that has been established in 1993. The distribution division of LCIG offers photonic products manufactured by our parent corporation, LASER COMPONENTS GmbH. These products include high power laser optics, the SPECDILAS® line of spectroscopic grade NIR lasers including DFBs, QCLs and the FLEXPOINT® laser diode module series. LCIG also distributes 905, 850, 1550 Pulsed Laser Diodes manufactured by LASER COMPONENTS, Canada and Si-Avalanche Photodiodes manfactured by LASER COMPONENTS DG, Inc. in Tempe, AZ. LCIG has strategic USA distribution partnerships with European companies like CODIXX AG, ATI Optique, U-L-M Photonics and LLA Instruments. LASER COMPONENTS (UK), Ltd. LCUK facility in Chelmsford LASER COMPONENTS (UK) Ltd was founded in 1993. Since then the business has continued to grow and offer a high quality service. In August 1999 a new Managing Director, Chris Varney, was appointed. At the same time the business moved premises, and changed its contact details. Already the benefits have been felt with significant increase in business and further growth is being planned. Quality remains our highest priority. Delivering high quality goods to our customer is maintained through a number of quality checks and together with our partner suppliers we continuously improve our systems and practices to meet the increasing demands on our business.
