Headquarters of the enterprise is the Hanse City of Rostock. After an initial two year phase which was mainly used for general product development OPTOLOGIC GmbH since 1998 is busy marketing industrial optical systems used for quality assurance and process automation. Profile Besides manufacturing and marketing special cameras ( intelligent and digital line scan cameras) as well as relevant accessories the delivery of turnkey systems in the field of measuring tasks within production processes, quality management as well as process automation are an important part of the company activities. The special cameras developed and manufactured by OPTOLOGIC are therefore an indispensable part of the system solution. The cameras are well known for their high processing speed and an extremely high resolution and thereby allow for 100 % supervision. 1999 OPTOLGIC GmbH received the technology award of the first order for its intelligent line scan cameras of the LIXUS-i series of the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
