In 1993 after chequered history the company Spindel- und Lagerungstechnik Fraureuth GmbH was founded as a result of German reunification. The leading employees of the old bearing company initiated it. The long lasting experiences survived in the field of production of bearings and spindle units, because the majority of people of the old company got an employment too by new establishment. Today the company embodies highest level and technical progress in this field. Our products under the trademarks "SLF" and "DKFL" reach many famous companies in Germany but also in 40 countries of all the world over. Following products belong to our production programme amongst others: Spindle bearings (high precision angular contact ball bearings) with an accuracy classification up to P2s (ABEC9) - also in sealed version Angular contact ball bearings deep groove ball bearings, single row self-aligning ball bearings magneto bearings S-type bearings Four point contact bearings Special bearings Cylindrical roller bearings (single row) Cylindrical roller bearings (double row) Our products correspond to the quality of first brand bearings and they are produced at the site Fraureuth. Our products are "Made in Germany". Among other things this quality standard was achieved by membership of DKFL-company Fraureuth to an important German bearing group during the years 1990 till 1993. We have performed certification according to DIN EN ISO 9001 in order to make the quality of our products clear outwardly. In our range of machine tool spindles (also "Made in Germany") we produce amongst others Belt-driven grinding spindles from outside diameter 30 mm up to 200 mm, length up to 1000 mm Grinding spindles with integrated motor in a range of speed from 1000 r.p.m. up to 120.000 r.p.m. Spindle units with flanged-on motor Drilling, milling and turning spindles Spindles for multiple spindle heads with a variety of clamping systems Spindles for specific ranges of application, e.g. wood and glass machining (sheet glass grinding, decoration glass grinding) Spindle units according to customer request incl. construction if necessary All spindles correspond to highest quality standards. They excel by their extremely smooth and quite running, long service life and easy maintenance and servicing. They allow extremely good cutting capacities and surface finishes of the workpieces. Everyday our grinding spindles are proved in our own bearing production. Exactly in this field they have to meet the highest requirements. Our service also covers repair of grinding spindles at a short notice (independent of brand). The reconditioned spindles are tested on test stands and are submitted to final inspection with regard to vibrations, radial runout, temperature and if necessary stiffness (with certificate) by analogy with fresh produced spindles.
