The dynamic growth started in 1973 and has continued in moderate ste......Since the year of its foundation in Velbert 1932 EMKA has developed from a small enterprise into a medium sized company-group with worldwide activities. The dynamic growth started in 1973 and has continued in moderate steps. A long termed strategy is aimed at EMKA being an independent manufacturer of complete systems. After a temporary move to Wuppertal EMKA returned to Velbert in 1986 where new product lines have continuously been introduced. The take over of the French companies Fort Securite (2000) and Rolez (2001) emphasize the claim for a complete in-house production. In 2005 another company became integrated in the EMKA group: ILS Speth GmbH incorporating the former companies Lenzner, IMK, Speth and Fedder & Lhr.
