In Erfurt in Thuringia ersol produces multi and monocrystalline silicon solar cells a production facility for thin-film modules has been built. Erfurt is also the head office of the ersol Group which consists of the parent company ersol Solar Energy AG, its four subsidiaries and a joint venture in China. In its different business segments ersol Solar Energy AG plans sales of € 300 million in 2008. The strategic goal is to continue growing profitably – and faster than the market. ersol currently has a total workforce of more than 1,200 employees at its different locations, all working for the success of the Group.
