The company began in the family cellar and already here, the aim was to provide good quality products. No one could then foresee that this small family business would grow into a world leader in the production of level measurement instrumentation. Development Through consistent quality, reliability and a holistic customer orientation, UWT has achieved an excellent name with planners, producers and operators of plants and machines in numerous branches. The increasing international direction of UWT ensures that its good reputation continues to grow in other countries. The arrival of Uwe Niekrawietz, as second director, alongside founder Peter Schropp accelerated the successful entry into new markets in all continents of the globe. The increasing market share ensures a constant company growth and subsequent staff growth. An extra production plant in Malta and a sales subsidiary in the growth area Asia, mean that we can meet our customer’s requirements with even more flexibility. In order to maintain product quality, the production and office areas are constantly growing to accommodate the necessary place requirements. The solid trust of our customers worldwide means that UWT GmbH continues to grow solidly, resulting in an additional office building at the headquarters in Betzigau, Germany to be completed by spring 2006.
