The target of VDS is to make available efficient components and systems for image processing, state-of-the-art technology. Already in 1991 e.g. had been presented by VDS Vosskuhler one of the first HDTV CCD cameras with 1260 x 1152 pixels at 25 images/sec. To the current VDS products belongs an identical assembled structure family of high resolution CCD- and CMOS-cameras, being available with various interfaces. The latest development are Infrared cameras for the NIR (0.9 - 1.7 μm) and the LWIR (8 - 14 μm) area.
