We have found that high accuracy contact sensors are more capable, reliable, precise, compact, easy to operate, cleaner and economical for automated systems control, and based on that experience, have attempted to make the transition to these sensors from conventional photoelectric sensors. Metrol Co., Ltd. Was established by Akira Matsuhashi in 1976. Instead of concentrating our efforts on the development of limit switches and proximity sensors that function on the basis of detecting the presence of an object, we have been engaged in the development of contact-type sensors capable of position detection and dimensional discrimination while also being able to withstand use in harsh environments. We are currently engaged in the development and marketing of contact-type sensor application products offering both high precision and originality.
