(previously known as Dyna Image) was established in 1990, with a focus in manufacturing and marketing Contact Image Sensor (CIS). It merged Lite-On Power Semiconductor, a Discrete Company in year 2000, started the Analog IC development in 2004, it further acquired Antek to gain access to its 6 inch fab capacity etc and built a complete and solid foundation for its total power management solution pursuit in 2005. LSC also managed to build a complete Green Energy Platform when we successfully developed several ambient light/ proximity sensor ICs and ESD protection devices in the following years. LSCs revenue is made up from Semiconductor related products and Modular system products. The semiconductor related products include Discrete , IC products and our 6 inch foundry which together contributed over 80% of sales in 2011. Modular system include CiS products that are mainly applied on MFP and LED indoor lighting power modules. LSC is the top three Discrete supplier in Taiwan and we are one of the largest global GPP Bridge supplier. LSC’s head quarter is in Taipei, Hsin Tien and our production network include : Taiwan Keelung, Wuxi and Shanghai in China. and our foundry business is based in the Hsin Chu Science park. The company also owns about 18.4% of Diodes Inc (Nasdaq listed : DIOD) as of December 2011, which is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of high quality application specific standard products within the broad discrete and semiconductor markets.
