It has subsidiaries in 8 countries (including Chin......Ankersmid was founded in 1961 as a distributor of laboratory analytical equipment (such as Electro Chemistry, Physical Parameters, Chemical Analysis and Nano Technology). It has subsidiaries in 8 countries (including China) and distributors in 21 countries. In 2001 the group acquired Galai business in Israel, the manufacturing plant for our EyeTech Particle Size and Shape Analyzer. Sales support centres were set up in The Netherlands and Israel. In 2003 Ankersmid moved to China to develop the Chinese market. In 2006 Ankersmid China started the “Ankersmid Excellent Student Program” to offer exceptional students an opportunity to use the instruments and facilities of our Shanghai laboratory. Since it’s establishment in China, Ankersmid has sold over 150 instruments to universities, research institutes, and industry.
