In second generation the brothers M. and J. van Herwijnen jointly manage the European-wide Activities of the Railtechniek group from the group main office at Tiel, The Netherlands. The Railtechniek van Herwijnen group unifies the complete technical and commercial know-how necessary to realize simple manual operated monorails and complete computer controlled internal conveying systems. Industrial design, security and noise-abatement are getting special attention. Profound technical knowledge, continuously promote and deepened by internal training and information about latest technical developments and backed by experienced sales engineers, brings the-benefit of accurate engineered conveying solutions. The modern and up-to-date equipped main-office and adjacent manufacturing site, are located in the industrial area Kellen at Tiel, directly at the highway Al5 Rotterdam-Arnhem. Part of the office building is a customer information-centre with a small exhibition of all standard conveyor systems with accompanying picture series. Additional archives of a wide range of world-wide fabricated conveyor systems complete the information bank. Furthermore these archives enabled Railtechniek van Herwijnen in the past to determine conveyors of unknown make and thereby helping customers with spare parts or even realize extensions or alterations. Also Railtechniek van Herwijnen adopts such "mysterious" installations and upon request integrates them into the regular maintenance program.
