TiePie engineering was founded at March 9, 1987 in Jorwerd, a small village in the north of The Netherlands. From the beginning TiePie was developing and manufacturing computer controlled measurement instruments. Over the years TiePie developed more instruments and the company became bigger. In July 1996 TiePie moved to a new and larger building in Sneek, a middle large city in the north of The Netherlands. Today TiePie sells to 80 countries all over the world. The sales market areas of TiePie measurement instruments are: industrial process automation, automotive test and measurement, service departments, medical applications, research centers and educational institutes.
