In 1936, when the company was founded, we were already specialising in the manufacture of industrial furnaces for production components. This concentration on our core competencies has enabled us to develop leading technology for precision heat treatment. This means that all major subassemblies, e.g. welded structures made from heat-resistant alloys, are produced in-house, where lining, final assembly and preliminary acceptance testing also take place. Today, the SAFED programme consists of a broad range of continuous systems, both electrically and gas-heated, for a throughput of 2 to 1600 kg per hour. Continuous further development of process technology and system design justify our position as a leading supplier, and assure our customers of a high level of investment security, even after many years of operation. SAFED systems provide guaranteed reliability, flexibility and economy. The basis is a standard programme of proven technology, which can be adapted to the respective customer-specific requirements. Special importance is attached to our test department in the Delémont factory in Switzerland. Here preliminary tests are carried out, processes developed and specific applications analysed. SAFED experts are application technology specialists, can provide training for your staff, and guarantee maintenance and spare parts supply worldwide. Our own capacities are complemented by an efficient network of subsidiaries and partner companies, who provide us with support in the area of customer advice and customer service. As a family-owned business, SAFED has proven its independence and identity, and today employs a total of 130 people in research and development, engineering, manufacture, sales and customer service, including 90 people at our headquarters in Delémont.
