In 1986 EAD established itself as a limited company and began its internationalization. By 1990 EAD had already achieved an important participation in the Italian market. The head pump produced by EAD, had a system of constraint of the valves avoiding movement from its position. This system, patented as a model and as an improved head sytem, eliminated many of the problems encountered by producers when the pumps were used in extreme conditions of vacuum, pressure or hot vapour, as well as resulting in a much longer working life than other manufacturers of vacuum pumps. In 1993, thanks to the success and acceptance of its products, EAD begins negotiations with several companies to begin the distribution of its products in France, Germany and Holland achieving important market shares thanks to the price and quality of our products. In 1996 EAD began manufacturing the HX10P3 models using plastic materials which permitted a reduction in weight and dimensions of the pumps, once again revolutionizing the membrane vacuum market. This model, initially designed for one of the top worldwide producers of dental devices, soon became one of the models most requested by our clients. In the year 1998 Franc, Oscar and Alex, Antonio and Petra’s sons, started to manage the production and sales areas, and went on to create a technical area focused on the development and improvement of the products. As a result of the new ideas coming from these young minds, the development of the new designs started to play an important role. In the year 2000 this technical area became the R+D+I Department. This department developed a continous feedback encouraging the participation of employees, customers and suppliers in order to obtain ideas and opinions to develope or improve the present or coming products. In 2004, with an export share that reached around 80% of its turnover, EAD initiated the patent of a new system of parallel vacuum/automatic series called Evo. This development, was made from the HX10P3 model. This pump fully satisfies the new guidelines which EAD had set out for its developments, a product that is compact, light, durable and highly efficient, 100% recyclable and above all, beautiful to look at. Without a doubt the challenge was met. Nowadays the Evo range of pumps are an important referent in the world of the membrane vacuum.
