That is why Jordi Guimet and Miquel Sisó, Plasticband’s founders, created in 1.977 the bases to develop the first light plastic strapping, the Tecnik, that until these days is one of our star products. The world trade expansion caused that our customers began to send their products to the five continents, what encouraged us to develop new and better packaging products to protect their goods during the transport until the destination. The globality and the increase of competition between the different companies also pushed us to develop a faster, safer and more economical packaging machinery, because each time more automatized production also required to industrialise the final products packaging. Following the guidelines of our foundation, there have been several good ideas and innovations, as could be the manufacture of printed plastic strapping with the logotype of the user, the plastic strapping production without any harmful element for environment or to design single, sure and strong packaging machines.
