Products include diaphragm and pistol pneumatic pumps, industrial fluid transfer plants for solvents, acids and paints. 1990 Transfer of know-how regarding the field of industrial fluid transfer systems to the semiconductor industry (STMicroelectronics). 1991 Inauguration of our technical assistance center, project 1992 Corporate headquarters moved from Paternò to Mascalucia. 1993 Authorized distributor for components utilized by the semiconductor industry made in the USA: White Knight, Trebor, Asti, DuPont. 1994 Joint-Venture agreement signed with American companies for the production of products in Sicily. Production of thermoplastic tubing (Teflon, pfa, fep, peek, kynar). 1995 Began project for new manufacturing facility and research for high-tech machinery and equipment for SAT’s industrial activity. 1996 Signed partnership agreement with Modutek regarding products made in the USA such as quartz baths and fluid control systems. 1997 Meetings, courses and specialized fairs for the semiconductor industry. 1998 Intensified contacts and semiconductor market research. 1999 Purchase of 11,000 square meters of industrial terrain located in Catania’s Industrial Zone, approximately 300 meters away from STMicroelectronics new M6 site. 2000 Construction begins for SAT’s manufacturing facility at Catania. Purchase, installation and testing of extrusion machinery for ultra-pure tubing in PFA, FEP and Peek. Purchase, installation and testing of CNC work division. Signed agreements with foreign suppliers (Novellus, Disco, Sez and Modutek) for collaboration regarding technical support and warehouse management for STMicroelectronics. 2001 Inauguration of manufacturing facility. Received ISO 9002. 2002 The first floor of SAT’s facility was completed in this year, with the inauguration of its administrative offices, assemblage area and conference room. SAT Di Leo Inc., our Import-Export branch in the United States, was founded in this year. Fluorosat Srl, SAT’s commercial division, was also founded this year. 2003 Maintained and updated ISO 9002-2000 certification. 2004 Obtained ISO 14001 Certification Maintained and updated ISO 9001-2000 Presented research project for innovative fluid transfer components 2006 New investments have been made regarding three clean rooms which will include: 1 high-purity fluoropolymer molding machine 1 CNC automatic lathe used for manufacturing semi-finished fluoropolymers and special metallic alloys 1 state-of-the-art CNC machine for manufacturing semi-finished fluoropolymers and special metallic alloys 1 fluoropolymer extrusion system for non-metal extrusion.
