Elcis is surely a specialist in the position-transducers field. The technical knowledge and experience of Elcis in position-transducers, acquired since 1974, allows to produce an extremely wide and complete range of these devices, as to fulfill all present and future requirements in the industrial automation field. Elcis transducers, both rotating and linear, can be supplied in absolute and incremental version. On these encoders, Elcis has patented many technologic solutions (among them, the "Microplan", special micrometric adjustment inside the encoder) which give the possibility to attain high qualitative levels, both in precision and reliability. Linear transducers are computer-aided tested and aligned in a suitable constant temperature standard room by means of a Hewlett Packard laser interferometer. Each linear transducer is equipped with its test sign-off and computer-aided graphic, showing evidency of the declared precision and values.
