MAGNETIC SPA started manufacturing small electric motors in 1981. These motors were specifically designed to be used in conjunction with variable speed electronic drives in the field of industrial automation. The favourable growth of the market for this type of products and a uniquely flexible production system have resulted in a rapid business development in both italian and foreign markets, in a few years. Currently Magnetic, which belongs to FERROLI Group, is located in Montebello Vicentino (Vicenza, North-East of Italy) in its 5.600 m² factory. The turnover already exceeded the 14 billion lira of which 25% is generated from exports. MAGNETICs quality system is certified ISO 9001 the first certification has been released in 1994. The investment policy has always given the utmost priority to high reliability and superior quality. In order to achieve these aims a prepared team of technicians, also in cooperation with Padova University has, during several years, developed a series of machines which now offer superior technical choice and satisfy the market requirements. A nimble and flexible organization of the production based on the collaboration with suppliers specialized in their fields, has enabled us to satisfy further market requirements for prompt delivery, even for customised units typical for this kind of product. The measure of our success is the resulting quick growth of our company: at the time of writing MAGNETIC has sold over 100.000 motors and over 180.000 tachogenerators for the most varied applications. The continuous increase of our production program permits to offer a.c. or d.c. motors for variable speed both for positioning system (permanent magnet servomotors) and for the power applications (wound field d.c. motors or asynchronous vectorial motors).
