Onsrud Cutter is located in Libertyville, Illinois. It is the only router bit facility in the United States that manufactures high-speed steel, carbide tip, solid carbide and diamond coated router tooling. Onsrud manufactured the first router bit in 1920. Onsrud Cutter will manufacture its 24,000,000th tool in 2005. Thats over 85 years of making tools that do the job for the worlds most demanding industrial users. OC specializes in tooling for CNC routers. Close tolerance, high production, and long life are the features of OC bits. We also manufacture tooling for fixed or stationary routers, broken arm, pin, and inverted routers as well as electric and air routers. Our tools cut aluminum, composites, honeycomb, plastics, as well as natural and man-made wood materials.
