The companys brand name, the creative brainchild of set designer Koki Fregni, is synonymous for Quality, Innovation and Service. Tellure Rôta was established in 1950 as an artisan workshop thanks to the efforts of its founder and current chairman Roberto Lancellotti. The company first began producing mechanical parts and then, already in 1953, began specializing in wheels & castors. In 1961 Tellure Rôta began distributing its products abroad and, over the years, increased its daily wheel & castor production output from 2000 in 1972 to 30,000 in 1995 with the same number of employees, installing automated plants and production lines. Since 1989, Tellure Rôta has made important commercial investments to enhance its operations in foreign markets. The company became ISO 9001 certified in 1996 and in 2000 established the subsidiary "Tellure Rôta do Brasil" with head offices in San Paolo, Brazil. Today, Tellure Rôta operates with production units covering more than 13,000 m² and is commercially active in 57 countries thanks to a dynamic and extensive sales network including distributors, commercial partners and foreign subsidiaries.
