About four years later, the introduction in the world of the plas......The company OMF Turra was born in 1955, with the name of Turra Bros. introducing itself on the market with machines designed for the production of buttons. About four years later, the introduction in the world of the plastic materials started through the realization of the first automation devices for injection machines and such production continued till 1967. That year also marked the production of screw groups, a solution that allowed, precisely, to change the piston machines to screw machines. In 1972 there was instead the design and the realization of the first complete vertical injection moulding machine. From that moment, OMF Turra goes on with a development parabola face to a progressive and constant technological evolution. Dynamism and details care. In synthesis this is the attitude that distinguishes us in the construction of vertical injection moulding machines suitable for the injection moulding of thermoplastic engineering plastics and above all for the capacity in answering to peculiar and complex requirements with aimed and qualified solutions, studied in partnership with the customer. All this led to the processing capacity of aimed and specialistic solutions in the co-moulding field in function of the single requirements from the customers. The main firm strategy is founded on the realization of projects made to measure for the customer needs. In the field of the moulding with insert, this is a need and in the manufacture of middle/little machines the tailor-made affects more, therefore an easy and fast company like ours can personalize the machines at competitive prices, while a company with an hard structure, although more efficient, remains opposed and would produce only at high costs and long answer times. So this is the philosophy that was at the politics base of OMF Turra from the beginning, when in 1972 it started to produce vertical injection moulding machines, and it is the one that will lead us in the future.
