In 1952 the production of environmental chambers for temperature and humidity started, rapidly followed by the first temperature-vacuum chamber in 1953. The results of the research of those years are some patented techniques still used in the cooling plant equipment of today. Archimede Solar Energy SpA operating in the Renewable Energies field, ArchimedeSolarEnergy manufactures, in collaboration with ENEA (government-funded agency specialized in alternative energies), receiver tubes for high temperature (550°C) thermodynamic sun power stations (Archimede Project). ASE produces also Tricroic concentrated photovoltaic modules.
