At the end of 1800 Mr. Prospero Gandus began his activity producing and selling hand made paper pouches and labels, extending the production to different kind of packaging materials for technical use – for example for metallic pieces or needels for sewing machines. During the second world war the production had been stopped for some years, the family went on operatine in the packaging market up the designing and manufacturing in 1954 of the first Gandus sealer for the heat-closing of polyethylene bags. The period after the war hadn’t been either easy or quick, although very steady indeed. The Company earned a lot in terms of professional thickness and reliability in its choices. Gandus Saldatrici distinguishes itself in the packaging landscape as a complete and highly professional reality.
