In 1986 Advance Tapes became the first tape company to gain BS5750 accreditation. During the 1990s, Advance Tapescompleted the build of a customised production facility for electrical insulation and protection tapes. Today, Advance Tapes manufactures cloth, PVC, foil, double-sided, polyethylene and paper tapes in the UK at two sites in Leicester.
