Founders Background Mike Elliot was Sales Manager for Spectra-Physics UK Ltd from 1979 until 1986 when he left to found Newport Ltd and become its Managing Director. In 1990 Mike, now a leading laser industry figure, created Elliot Scientific. Mikes qualifications include a BSc Honours Degree in Applied Chemistry, majoring in Instrumentation. He has also completed a number of specialist courses run by Cranfield University. Mike has previously served as a Corporate Associates Director of the OSA and was a member of the SPIE Corporate and Exhibitor Committee. He is currently an active member of the UK Photonics Cluster. Staff We employ PhD level physicists, scientists and mechanical design engineers to assist you with your product search or application, and to ensure that our advice is correct and balanced.
