Based near Wrexham in North Wales, GSF is a privately owned business totally committed to excellence, both in service and in innovation. In 2006 it won the Lord Stafford prize for innovation for its low-weight high-performance slide and tilt system. The company is committed to Total Quality Management and operates an ISO based quality system. Since its foundation the Company has worked in close collaboration with its principal manufacturing partner Chambrelan SA to develop a leading market position in the UK and other markets. The Chambrelan manufacturing process allows GSF to offer bespoke slide specifications, whether the customer is ordering 10 or 10,000 slide pairs. The scope of GSF’s products covers load bearing capabilities ranging from a few kilograms to over a tonne, and depending on the application incorporates product with characteristics such as very high precision of movement, resistance to vibration and corrosion with the highest levels of durability. Typical applications where GSF products have proven their worth is on emergency vehicles such as fire engines, and in defence applications where very high durability is normally a prerequisite.
