We also undertake the design and manufacture of specialist generators and undertake systems engineering and manufacture of ancillary equipment and control systems. Each machine is manufactured to exacting standards and fully load tested before despatch to ensure the designed performance is attained. G&M is self sufficient in: Metal fabrication - fully codified welders In-house facilities for both mechanical and electrical design and production, including 3D facility Mechanical and electrical assembly Painting and finishing Testing and inspection G&M products can be built to conform to any required commercial, industrial, marine, environmental or military standards. Comprehensive and consistent quality management systems are in place conforming to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, approved and certified by Lloyds for design, manufacture and servicing of generators. We also conduct a continuing research programme with an emphasis on the development of more advanced componentry contributing to enhanced performance and reliability under the severest operational conditions. G&M Power Plant manufactures to all the primary classification societies. G&M Power Plant is not tied to any particular engine or alternator manufacturer, thus allowing us to offer customers the most cost-effective and technically compliant solution for their requirement. Power sources typically utilised include Caterpillar, Cummins, Lister Petter, Man, MTU, Perkins/Sabre, Scania and Volvo. G&M Power Plant provides comprehensive spares provisioning and a continuing programme of in-service support delivered through our team of mobile service engineers that operate world-wide. G&M offers marine generator to 1.5MW however, a significant amount of production does occur outside the standard range, depending upon customer requirements. The range for industrial generators is up to 2500KVA. These are primarily supplied under the brand of Countryman Power, which is an integral part of G&M Power Plant operations.
