Kanthal products shall contribute to the profit of our customers by creating a more efficient, reliable and cost effective production. Skilled and motivated personnel at local sales offices We are present with our own personnel and own companies/offices close to the customers wherever they are. The commercial and technical service should be of the same high standard as our products and normally taken care of locally. The customers can rely on a long-term relation and reliable services. Kanthal world-wide market organization comprises some 20 subsidiaries and 50 representatives, sometimes in co-operation with local Sandvik companies. Extensive R&D resources and technical back-up Kanthal allocates substantial resources on basic material research with the aim to stay in front in the development of new resistance heating alloys and elements. Linked to the R&D work are the application engineers and product specialists that help the local sales organization with specific technical questions and customized solutions. Own integrated production Kanthal is one of the few manufacturers in the world with fully integrated production from raw material to finished products. Production resources are also built up at different subsidiaries for drawing and element manufacturing. Silicon carbide elements and FIBROTHAL® are manufactured outside of Hallstahammar. Own production means full control of delivery capacity and the product quality. Kanthal is multi-site approved according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
