As a key shareholder within the joint venture, all R&D activity and manufacturing technology comes from Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Our company is a leading edge technology organization with independent intellectual property rights and patents. Having research institutes in both China and Japan, each of these has completely independent R&D for TPH/CIS. SHEC is able to supply custom-made TPH, as well as Black & White and Full Color high speed, high-density CIS. In our continued commitment to maintaining high quality products and service to our customers, on November 12, 2002 SHEC achieved ISO 9001 certification. The majority of TPH/CIS products made by SHEC are exported to overseas markets. Industry Applications include facsimile machines, Bank and Kiosk scanners, POS printers and various other special printer units. Along with Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, ITOCHU Corporation is another Majority shareholder within SHEC. Supporting the role of global distribution and logistical management, ITOCHU Corporation is the sales force of SHEC with design-in capability. With extensive global reach through it’s network of representatives, ITOCHU is able to satisfy the needs of it’s customers with the engineering resource at SHEC. As a result, the partnership resource offered to customers allows excellent exchange of information while undergoing the design phase of a project.
