Founded in 1996, Sailhero Environmental Protection is the first listed company in China's environmental monitoring industry. It has evolved into a group-oriented, international enterprise integrating environmental monitoring, big data services, and remediation. The group oversees 16 companies domestically and internationally, with 5 R&D centers and over 2,300 employees. Its business spans smart ecological monitoring, operation and maintenance services, dual-carbon technology services, environmental big data analysis and decision support, VOCs treatment, regional sewage treatment, third-party testing, and new energy, providing comprehensive ecological and dual-carbon services to governments.

Research and Innovation

Sailhero Environmental Protection consistently pursues innovation-driven development, establishing core technological advantages. It has undertaken over 100 national and local science and technology projects, led or participated in drafting more than 20 national, industry, and local standards, and received 1 second-class National Science and Technology Progress Award, over 10 provincial and municipal science and technology progress awards, and more than 600 patents and software copyrights.

In research breakthroughs, Sailhero successfully developed China's first "Urban Air Quality Automatic Monitoring System" in 2000. In 2005, it pioneered the layout of five major online monitoring products for air, water, flue gas, sewage COD, and emergency monitoring, leading China's environmental monitoring into the era of "automatic monitoring" from "manual sampling." In 2012, it led the completion of a national major scientific project for PM2.5 automatic monitoring instruments, passing acceptance and supporting the transition from API to AQI evaluation for air quality monitoring. In 2015, based on ecological IoT and big data technology, Sailhero created the world's leading "Air Quality Grid-based Precision Monitoring System," bridging monitoring to regulation and achieving a "breakthrough innovation" in monitoring concepts. Facing the new mission of ecological civilization in the 14th Five-Year Plan, Sailhero developed an "Eco-brain" solution centered on data chain applications, providing end-to-end technical support for smart ecological transformation, smart city construction, and low-carbon economic development.

Business Introduction

Leveraging its comprehensive ecological service advantages, Sailhero deepens its focus on three core areas: smart monitoring, big data analysis and services, and remediation, creating solutions for sustained environmental quality improvement.

(1) Smart Ecological Monitoring

As a leader in high-end environmental monitoring instruments in China, Sailhero develops a full range of monitoring products for air, water, noise, greenhouse gases, ecology, marine, soil, and pollution sources, complemented by spatial monitoring tools like satellite remote sensing, mobile monitoring vehicles, and drones. These support the construction of an integrated sky-ground ecological monitoring system, meeting needs for fixed monitoring, mobile monitoring, portable enforcement, and pollution warning and tracing. Its products are widely used domestically and internationally, maintaining a competitive edge in traditional air and water monitoring markets. Notably, in 2023 and 2024, Sailhero successfully won bids for equipment upgrades at national air monitoring stations under the China National Environmental Monitoring Centre, reflecting its robust product quality and service capabilities.

To ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability, Sailhero introduced the "Non-onsite Ecological Supervision, Enforcement, and Full-process Quality Control System," utilizing online monitoring, remote quality control, process monitoring, and smart operation and maintenance to enhance non-onsite supervision and evidence collection, ensuring the validity of pollution source monitoring data.

(2) Big Data Analysis and Services

Since the 13th Five-Year Plan, Sailhero has built a smart ecological precision management platform based on environmental big data, leading the nation in multi-source data fusion and in-depth application. Supported by "One City, One Strategy" consulting services and "battle map" operations, it fully implements the requirements of "three pollution controls and five precisions," supporting regional environmental efforts to "clarify baselines, diagnose smartly, forecast warnings, trace sources precisely, govern systematically, and improve continuously." Sailhero has served over 200 cities and counties across 21 provinces, assisting over 80% of government clients in achieving air quality improvement targets and creating exemplary cases of sustained ranking improvements in 168 cities, notably helping Shijiazhuang achieve its "retreat from the bottom 10" goal for four consecutive years, contributing to the construction of a beautiful provincial capital.

For the 14th Five-Year Plan, Sailhero leverages IoT, big data, cloud computing, AI, and 5G technologies to build the "Eco-brain," centered on "Blue Sky Cloud, Clear Water Cloud, Clean Soil Cloud, Low-carbon Cloud, Nature Cloud, and Health Cloud." This supports natural ecological protection and ecological civilization projects, meeting demands for digital and smart environmental management, enabling unified planning, coordination, command, and decision-making, and promoting the optimization of energy and industrial structures for green, low-carbon, sustainable development of environment, economy, and society.

(3) Comprehensive Remediation and Restoration

Based on the "Eco-brain" data chain, Sailhero connects front-end pollution monitoring with back-end source treatment, offering emission control and treatment solutions tailored to regional characteristics, as well as full-process low-carbon services like carbon monitoring, carbon auditing, carbon asset management, carbon quota trading, and carbon peak and reduction planning. These assist governments in coordinating pollution reduction, carbon reduction, green expansion, and growth, addressing challenges like coordinated air pollution and greenhouse gas control, PM2.5 and ozone synergy, and VOCs and NOx synergy. In comprehensive ecological remediation, Sailhero adheres to the "Mountains, Rivers, Forests, Fields, Lakes, Grasslands, and Sands Life Community" concept, focusing on air, water, and soil. It develops end-treatment technology equipment and diversified solutions, deeply engaging in VOCs treatment, dust control, sewage treatment, low-temperature denitrification, and waste-to-natural gas and hydrogen production, forming a new "monitor, manage, treat" full-chain service model. Sailhero has successfully delivered demonstration projects and public welfare initiatives, including industrial exhaust treatment, gas boiler retrofitting, rural comprehensive remediation, black and odorous water body restoration, landfill transformation, and smart mist forest complexes.
