Established in 1956, originally named Kaifeng Rubber Factory, it was officially renamed Kaifeng Iron Tower Rubber (Group) Co., Ltd. in 1999. In 2006, it became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henan Energy Group Co., Ltd., a Fortune Global 500 company. The company currently employs 428 staff, including over 80 professional and technical personnel, with fixed assets of 630 million yuan and a land area of 268 mu. As a designated manufacturer for the former Ministry of Chemical Industry, Ministry of Railways, and Ministry of Coal, it has a 69-year history and an annual production capacity of 650 million yuan. The company owns a provincial research center and a Henan Provincial Key Laboratory, boasting strong research and development capabilities as well as experimental and testing capacities.
