Fuzhou Tianyu Electric Co., Ltd., a large-scale high-tech enterprise specializing in the research and development, intelligent manufacturing, engineering system integration, and full lifecycle equipment operation services of a complete range of primary power equipment, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of XJ Group Co., Ltd. under China Electrical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. Established in December 1995, Fuzhou Tianyu Electric Co., Ltd. was formed through the merger of the former Fuzhou First Switch Factory, Fuzhou Second Switch Factory, and Fuzhou Transformer Factory, all founded in 1958. It has become one of the primary equipment manufacturing bases of China Electrical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. in the southern region, with capabilities in research, manufacturing, engineering integration, and services for primary equipment covering voltage levels of 220kV and below, making it the largest power transmission and transformation equipment manufacturing enterprise in Fujian Province.
In 2016, the company relocated to a new factory area in Fuzhou High-tech Zone. The new factory, with an investment of several billion yuan, covers a total area of 317 mu and includes four major production workshops for large transformers, distribution transformers, intelligent switches, and welding. It has an annual production capacity of 240 units of 220kV power transformers (24,000MVA), 400 units of 110kV transformers (20,000MVA), 2,000 units of 35kV and below transformers (63,000MVA), 19,000 sets of switchgear, and 12,000 vacuum circuit breakers. The company is equipped with advanced numerical control equipment imported from Europe, the United States, Japan, and other countries, as well as silicon steel sheet longitudinal and transverse cutting lines, epoxy resin casting production lines, transformer tank automatic forming and welding lines, numerical control electrostatic painting and powder coating lines, electroplating lines, low-frequency electric heating vacuum drying furnaces, welding robots, precision CNC machine tools, machining centers, and other key process production lines and equipment, along with top-tier domestic testing equipment. Currently, the company has total assets of nearly 800 million yuan, a registered capital of 327.9072 million yuan, and a construction area of 89,800 square meters.
Main products include: 35kV and below gas-insulated switchgear and ring main units; 35kV and below air-insulated switchgear; prefabricated cabins and box-type substations; 220kV and below high-efficiency energy-saving oil-immersed power transformers (including special transformers for electric furnaces, rectification, and traction); 35kV and below energy-saving and environmentally friendly dry-type transformers (including special transformers for rectification, traction, and non-standard transformers); 35kV and below amorphous alloy energy-saving transformers (both dry-type and oil-immersed), totaling more than 30 product series. Among these, six switchgear products have reached international advanced levels, and seven have reached domestic advanced levels. Four transformer products have reached international levels, and one has reached a domestic advanced level.
The company holds a national enterprise technology center and is recognized as one of the top 100 enterprises in the domestic electrical industry, a transformer maintenance base for the Fujian region of the State Grid Corporation, an advanced process enterprise, a first-class archive management enterprise, a first-class metrology enterprise, and an AAA-rated enterprise. In 1998, the company obtained the ISO-9001 Quality Management System Certification and has successfully passed annual audits since then. In 2002, it obtained the ISO-9001:2000 Quality Management System Certification. In 2009, it received certifications for the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
The "Tianyu Electric" brand is nationally renowned, and the "Rongpai" transformers and "Fukai" switchgear complete sets are well-known products both domestically and internationally. These products are widely used in the State Grid, China Southern Grid, and industries such as mining, metallurgy, paper-making, steel, rail transportation, petrochemicals, new energy power generation, and new infrastructure construction, covering power generation, transmission, distribution, and consumption. The products are also exported to Southeast Asia, Africa, Europe, and other regions.
