Pinggao Group (Henan) Electric Power Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pinggao Group Co., Ltd. Established in 2012, it focuses on the R&D, design and manufacturing of power fittings. The company prioritizes the development of converter station fittings, substation fittings, line fittings and online monitoring products. It has gained widespread industry recognition particularly in the field of ±200kV to ±1100kV converter station fittings and overall solutions.

The company has successively completed more than ten scientific and technological projects, including the "±800kV Converter Station Valve Hall and DC Yard Fittings Project," "Series Development of High-strength Material Fittings for UHV Transmission Projects," "±1100kV Converter Station Valve Hall and DC Yard Fittings Project," and "Development of High-altitude Converter Station Valve Hall and DC Yard Fittings Products." It has won 5 provincial-level Science and Technology Progress Awards and 5 municipal-level Science and Technology Progress Awards, obtained 107 authorized patents (including 60 invention patents), released 2 national standards, 1 industry standard and 4 association standards, and published more than 60 professional papers.

Driven by national UHV projects and new energy policies, the company has continuously undertaken numerous supply tasks: the ±1100kV Changji–Guquan UHVDC Demonstration Project; the ±800kV Jinhua Converter Station achieving localization of DC yard and low-end valve hall fittings; the ±800kV Lingzhou Converter Station achieving localization of high-end valve hall fittings; the ±800kV Taizhou Converter Station with rated current reaching 6250 A; the ±500kV Zhangbei Flexible DC Grid Test and Demonstration Project; the ±400kV Three Gorges Rudong Offshore Wind Power Project achieving localization of offshore DC fittings; the ±200kV Yangzhen DC Project (AC-to-DC conversion); the ±800kV Brazil Belo Monte Phase II Rio and Xingu Converter Stations achieving full export of UHVDC fittings; and the ±660kV Pakistan Matiari–Lahore DC Project with Matiari and Lahore converter station fittings serving the Belt and Road Initiative.
