China Techenergy Co., Ltd.(CTEC) was established in October 2005. It's a joint venture co-funded by China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN) and Beijing Hollysys Co., Ltd. (HOLLYSYS). CTEC can provide full-life-cycle and end-to-end digital I&C system solutions to nuclear power plants and other professional fields with high reliability requirements in the world, which covers engineering design, product manufacturing, system integration, product R&D, technical support and service outsourcing, etc.

CTEC has won 6 China Patent Excellence Awards and 70 Scientific and Technological Awards at various levels, including such as the China Grand Awards for industry, China Electric Power Science and Technology Award, and the Manufacturing Industry Single Champion award from the Ministry of industry and information Technology, etc. It has also been honored as a Demonstration Enterprise for Science and Technology Reform by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. The company has accumulated over 200 computer software copyrights, 248 invention patents, 139 utility model patents and 42 design patents. It has successfully registered 69 domestic trademarks and 116 overseas trademarks. The company has obtained certifications such as design license and manufacturing license issued by the National Nuclear Safety Authority, EUR, GDA, CE RoHS/REACH, as well as independent Engineering Review of instrumentation and Control Systems (IERICS) conducted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), etc.

CTEC's product application performance covers most of the operating and newly-built nuclear power plants in China. They are widely used in the whole-plant DCS of various reactor types and technical routes such as Generation It, Generation II (Hualong One/HPR 1000, WVER-1200), and Generation IV (High-temperature Reactor). The safety platform "FirmSys" has been applied to 32 units, the non-safety DCS platform has been applied to 50 units, with more than 1,700 nuclear power engineering application experiences. There has never been any reactor or turbine trip event caused by the CTEC's instrumentation and control system products.
