Xi'an Coal Mining Machinery Co., Ltd. (formerly Xi'an Coal Mining Machinery Factory, established in 1951) is a major backbone enterprise in China for the design and manufacture of coal mining machines. In August 2008, Shaanxi Coal and chemical Industry Group Co., Ltd. and China National Coal Group Corporation jointly invested in a strategic reorganization.

The company currently employs over 1,400 people, including 233 engineering technicians, with 124 holding senior or above titles. Its production facility covers 500 mu, with a construction area of 142,400 square meters and more than 300sets of direct production equipment. This includes over 40 high-precision machines such as the UNION planer-type boring and milling machining center, large-stroke SHW floor-type boring and milling machining center, 5-axis DMG turning-milling compound machining center, high-end CNC form grinding machine with level 3 gear grinding precision, and gear testing instruments. The company has developed into a large-scale state-owned high-tech enterprise integrating the R&D, design manufacturing, marketing, and service of coal mining machines and rapid tunneling equipment.

The company adheres to the principles of technological leadership, quality branding, international market expansion, and professional services, focusing on domestic markets while looking globally and closely aligning with market and user needs. Its leading coal mining, machine products form four series-thin seam, medium-thick seam, thick seam, and extra-thick seam-covering over 80 specifications, with power ranging from 350kW to 3,450kW and mining height from 0.8m to 10m. Tunneling equipment includes five categories: conventional tunneling machines, longitudinal-axis anchor-tunneling machines, continuous mining machines, transverse-axis integrated anchor-tunneling machines, and auxiliary equipment, meeting rapid tunneling needs under various geological conditions. Its wholly-owned subsidiary, Coal Specialty Company, produces mining hoisting and transportation equipment, rollers, belt feeders, and self-moving tail units for belt conveyors. The company's products are widely used by coal enterprises in 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China and have successfully entered international markets including India, Bangladesh, Russia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Turkey.
