Guizhou Wire Rope was founded in 1966. it was restructured into a wholly state-owned company - Guizhou Steel Rope (Group) Co, Ltd. in 1999; Guizhou Wire Rope Incorporated company was established in 2000 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in May 2004. The company is primarily engaged in the technical research, production, processing, and sales of wire ropes, steel wires, steel strands, deep-processed wire rope products, cables, and related equipment and materials. Our company has undertaken more than 40 major projects, including the Gezhouba Hydropower Project, the Three Gorges Power Station, Shenzhen Yantian Port, Shekou Port, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Huajiang Canyon Bridge, the Lingdingyang Bridge of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, Singapore's PSA Container Terminal, the Zhenhua 30-the world's largest single-arm fully slewing floating crane-the world's largest 150-meter fixed pile-driving vessel, the Nanhai Fenjin FPSO, the Haiyang Shiyou 981 offshore drilling platform, the large dragline excavator at Heidaigou Coal Mine Chengdu Fenghuangshan Sports Park. The company occupies a total area of 1 million square meters, with factory buildings covering 400,000 square meters. Its annual production capacity for metal wire products reaches 550,000 metric tons, including 200,000 metric tons of wire rope, 150,000 metric tons of steel wire, and 200,000 metric tons of PC strand. The company has an annual production capacity of 10,000 metric tons for various deep-processed products, including pre-stretching, plastic-coating, and socket processing in multiple specifications and structures, as well as 60,000 metric tons for prefabricated main cable wires and strands for suspension bridges and hot-extruded polvethylene stay cables for cable-staved bridges in various specifications and structures, which have a distinct advantage in producing metal wire products with high strength, high toughness, extra-large diameter, extra-long length, special structures, and specialized applications.
