Xi'an XD High Voltage Apparatus Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Xikai Limited") is a third-tier subsidiary of China Electrical Equipment Group and a wholly-owned subsidiary of China XD Electric Co., Ltd., serving as one of its core backbone enterprises. Founded in 1955, its predecessor was Xi'an High Voltage Apparatus Factory, one of the 156 key national projects during China's First Five-Year Plan. It completed corporatization restructuring in 2001 and has since become China's R&D and production base for high-voltage, extra-high-voltage, ultra-high-voltage, and intelligent switchgear in the power transmission and transformation equipment manufacturing industry.

Located at No.95 Fengcheng 12th Road, Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, the company covers an area of approximately 158 mu with a registered capital of RMB 1.1 billion. It has established an organizational structure aligned with its "focused core business, appropriately diversified" development strategy. Products and technologies branded "XD" have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions worldwide, and a nationwide marketing and service network has been established across all provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions in China.

In recent years, the company has continuously adjusted its product structure to meet market demands. With switchgear manufacturing as its core, it has expanded into smart operation and maintenance services, smart energy system solutions, flexible power transmission and distribution switchgear, and supporting "hidden champion" products.
