Lu'an Chemical Machinery (Group) Co., Ltd. (referred to as "LAHJ") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lu'an Chemical Group. Its predecessor was Shanxi Chemical Machinery Factory, an enterprise directly under the former Shanxi Provincial Department of Chemical Industry, established in 1966. With total assets of 4.6 billion yuan and 2,100 employees, LAHJ operates four manufacturing bases in Taiyuan, Yongji, Xinjiang, and Lingang, as well as three service-oriented companies—a Class-A chemical design institute, a construction and installation company, and an inspection and testing company. LAHJ is recognized as a National Enterprise Technology Center, a National High-Tech Enterprise, a National Green Factory, and the National-Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Coal Gasification Technology and Equipment. It serves as a high-end equipment supplier and service provider for the chemical and new energy industries, integrating technology R&D and engineering design, manufacturing and installation, maintenance, and inspection services.

For 24 years, LAHJ has collaborated with Academician Yue Guangxi's team from Tsinghua University, achieving the full-series technological iteration of the "Jinhua Gasifier" (1.0 to 4.0), a critical national asset. Its coal-water slurry + water-cooled wall + waste heat boiler gasification technology leads the world. Related achievements have earned prestigious awards, including the Seoul International Invention Fair Gold Prize, the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva Gold Medal, and the National Manufacturing Single Champion Product Award. LAHJ holds patents for multiple mainstream gasification technologies, making significant contributions to the efficient and clean utilization of coal in China. Additionally, LAHJ has expanded into high-end equipment manufacturing, green hydrogen equipment manufacturing, modular skid-mounted technology, and long-duration energy storage in the new energy sector. Its comprehensive strength ranks among the top tier in the industry nationwide.
