Jinan XD Special Transformer Co., Ltd. was founded in 1995, affiliated with China XD Group. In 2021, it became a member of China Electrical Equipment Group Co., Ltd., a key state-owned backbone enterprise under the supervision of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC). The company is located in the Jinan Economic Development Zone, Shandong Province, and shares the same factory premises with its parent company, XD Jinan Transformer Co., Ltd. Based on the introduction of advanced technology from Germany's Siemens, and through continuous innovation and development, the company has established independent R&D and manufacturing capabilities in the power transmission and distribution field for dozens of types of electrical equipment, including dry-type transformers, oil-immersed transformers, amorphous alloy transformers, box-type substations, saturation reactors for UHV converter valves, and high- and low-voltage switchgear. Over the years, thanks to its strong reputation, excellent quality, and superior service, the company's products have been widely applied and have operated safely and stably in national power systems, UHV AC/DC projects, national key experimental projects, government ministries and commissions, embassy districts, airports, Olympic venues, the Tibetan Plateau, high-speed railways, expressways, oil fields, large industrial projects, large-scale power plants, hospitals, large ships (offshore platforms), wind power plants, and other major projects. The products have also been exported to more than 50 countries and regions worldwide, including the United States, Turkey, Russia, South Africa, Egypt, Brazil, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Iran, and Pakistan.
Large Transformer Production Line: Workshop area of 26,000 square meters, capable of manufacturing power transformers and special transformers up to 750kV, with an annual capacity of 36 million kVA.
Dry-type Transformer Production Line: Workshop area of 30,000 square meters, capable of manufacturing dry-type transformers and dry-type reactors, with an annual capacity of 30 million kVA.
Box-type Substation Production Line: Workshop area of 15,000 square meters, capable of manufacturing box-type substations and high- and low-voltage switchgear, with an annual capacity of 15 million kVA.
Steel Structure Welding: Steel structure welding workshop area of 16,000 square meters, capable of manufacturing transformer tanks and steel structure accessories, with an annual capacity of 10,000 tons.
The factory is equipped with complete production support and public auxiliary facilities.
