Liaoning Weiyue Group Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was established in December 2010, located in the South Industrial Park of Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province, covering an area of 52,000 square meters. It is a national high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, production, sales, and service, a provincial-level enterprise technology center of Liaoning Province, a national "Demonstration Base for Mining Mechanized Installation and Withdrawal Equipment", with Grade II qualification for general contracting of mine engineering construction and Grade II qualification for professional contracting of building mechanical and electrical installation. It is equipped with more than 200 sets of advanced process equipment and coal machinery testing facilities, including large laser cutting machines and CNC machine tools. The group has established Liaoning Weiyue Group Mine Engineering Co., Ltd. and its Shanxi Branch and Tai'an Branch, Guizhou Branch, Xinjiang Branch, and Shenyang Branch of Liaoning Weiyue Group Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Hainan Yuanhao Technology Co., Ltd., Tiefa Weiyue Mine Accessories Manufacturing Co., Ltd., the Coal Mine Machinery Intelligent Research Institute, and a university-industry-research base.
In 2012, the mining hydraulic frame-type lifting device won the Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Research Achievement Award. In 2013, it was awarded the only national "Demonstration Base for Mining Mechanized Installation and Withdrawal Equipment" in China. In 2017, it established a university-industry alliance of "Liaoning Province Safety Technology and Equipment Industry" with Liaoning Technical University. In 2018, the mining hydraulic frame-type lifting device was included in the "Third Batch of Promotion Catalog of Advanced Applicable Technology and Equipment for Coal Mine Safety Production". In 2019, it became a member enterprise of the National Coal Mine Robot Collaborative Innovation Center. In 2021, the Liaoning Provincial Federation of Trade Unions named it a provincial-level employee innovation studio; in 2023, it was awarded the Liaoning Province Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative Small and Medium-sized Enterprise; Liaoning Province Provincial Enterprise Technology Center; in 2024, it was awarded the title of Liaoning Province Green Factory; it jointly established a university-industry-research base with Liaoning Technical University; the mining hydraulic frame-type lifting device and hydraulic support shifting device won the China Coal Machinery Industry Quality Brand Award; in 2025, the KDZ230/90YC explosion-proof electric rack-and-pinion rail locomotive passed the technical appraisal organized by the China Coal Machinery Industry Association, with the product reaching the domestic leading level, and was included in the 2025 Liaoning Province First (Set) Major Technical Equipment Promotion and Application Guidance Catalog, and passed the ISO50001 Energy Management System certification. The Meng Qinglin Innovation Studio was awarded the title of National Model Worker and Craftsman Innovation Studio supported by the All-China Federation of Trade Unions in 2025. The products cover three major sectors of underground coal mines: "intelligent auxiliary transportation, efficient installation and withdrawal, and support for two roadways".
