Northern Heavy Industries
Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "NHI") is a large-scale equipment R&D and manufacturing enterprise under Liaoning Fangda Group Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Fangda Group"). Founded in 1921, the company was formed through the merger and reorganization of the former Shenyang Heavy Machinery Plant and Shenyang Mining Machinery Plant.
NHI was the first heavy machinery plant in New China to resume production and is known as the "cradle of New China's heavy machinery industry." It is a core backbone enterprise in China's heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
Business Areas
NHI's main products serve multiple industrial sectors and are widely used in mining, metallurgy, bulk material handling, tunnel engineering, power, building materials, and other industries. Meanwhile, NHI continues to expand its market in automotive components, oil fracturing, scientific research equipment, aircraft maintenance, and other fields, which have become new growth drivers for the company. NHI also possesses EPC turnkey contracting capabilities and can provide project general contracting services to a wide range of customers. It holds an important position in the international and domestic heavy machinery manufacturing industries, with products reaching global markets.
Technical Strength
NHI possesses complete design, testing, inspection, and metrology capabilities. It has obtained more than 300 patents and over 200 national, provincial, and municipal science and technology awards. NHI is a National Technology Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, with a nationally recognized enterprise technology center, the State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Mining and Equipment for Deep Metal Mines, a postdoctoral research station, and the Liaoning Provincial Professional Technology Innovation Center for Large-Scale Mineral Grinding Complete Equipment.
Manufacturing Capability
NHI has more than 3,000 units (sets) of various production equipment, 15 modern production workshops, and a maximum lifting capacity of 500 tons.
